How HotelLobby.me handles the photos you upload to the Hotel Lobby AI generator: what we collect, who processes it, how long we keep it and how to delete it.

HotelLobby.me ("we", "us") is a Hotel Lobby AI video generator that turns two photos into a short rap duet video. To do that we have to handle your photos, which are personal, so we want to be clear about exactly what happens to them. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect, why, who else sees it and how you stay in control. It works together with our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

- We only collect what we need to make your video, keep your account and take payments.
- Your photos and videos are private to your account. We never post them, share them or show them to other users.
- We never sell your data and never use your photos or videos to train AI models.
- Photos of real children are rejected and never stored.
- You can have your photos, videos or whole account deleted at any time. We confirm within 2 business days.
What we collect

We do not collect your card number, your contacts, your location beyond what your IP address suggests, or anything from your camera roll other than the photos you choose to upload.
How your photos are handled
Because photos are the most personal thing you give us, here is their full journey:
- Upload. Your photo is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and checked by our photo check before anything else happens.
- Photo check. An AI model confirms the photo shows one person, pet or character and no prohibited content. Photos of real children and photos that break our rules are rejected and not stored.
- Video. Accepted photos are sent to our AI video provider, which builds the booth scene and turns it into your video. The results are saved to your account.
- Storage. Photos, booth images and videos are stored privately. Only you can see them in My Videos, through links that are not listed or indexed anywhere.
- Deletion. They stay until you ask us to delete them or close your account. See Your choices below.
We never look at your photos or videos unless you ask us to, for example when you report a broken video, or when we must check a report of abuse.
How we use your data
- To make your video and show it in My Videos.
- To check that each photo follows our photo rules before any video is generated.
- To keep your credit balance and purchase history, and to process refunds.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, such as extra accounts created for free credits.
- To answer you when you contact us.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages and features people use so we can improve them.
What we never do: sell your data, rent it to advertisers, use your photos or videos to train AI models, or use your photos for our own marketing. The example videos on our site were made from AI generated portraits, not from user uploads.
Who processes your data
Making a video takes a few specialist services. Each one receives only what it needs for its task and is bound by its own privacy and security terms.

fal.ai may also host files briefly while it processes them. We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Plausible to count visits and page views; these do not receive your photos or videos.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies:
- Essential cookies keep you logged in and remember settings. The site does not work without them.
- Analytics cookies, where enabled, count visits and page views in aggregate.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.
How long we keep it

Security
- Every connection to HotelLobby.me is encrypted with HTTPS.
- Passwords are stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text.
- Card details are entered on our payment partner's checkout page and never reach our servers.
- Keys for our providers are stored encrypted, and only the small team that runs the service can reach production systems.
No online service can promise perfect security, but if a breach ever affected your personal data, we would tell you without undue delay.
Your choices
You are in control of your data. Email support@hotellobby.me from the address on your account, with the subject Privacy, to:
- delete specific photos and videos, or your whole account;
- get a copy of the data we hold about you;
- correct your account details;
- object to any use of your data or ask us to limit it.
We confirm every request within 2 business days and complete it as quickly as we can. Deleting your account also removes your unused credits, so use or refund them first. Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as the GDPR or CCPA give you these rights, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority. The contact page explains what to include.
Children
HotelLobby.me is for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account, and we do not accept photos of real children: uploads that clearly show a real child are rejected and not stored. Drawn or animated child characters are not affected. If you believe a child's photo has reached us, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
International users
We serve users worldwide, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on our providers' standard safeguards for those transfers.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes, such as a new provider that receives your photos, will also be announced on the site before they take effect.
